What started as one instructor and a grass strip in Maiden is now a thriving PPG community with weekly fly-ins and students who never really graduate. They just keep showing up.

Our Training Process
File it once, fly it forever. Every student runs the same proven route — at their own pace.
1. Try It First
One intro day, zero commitment. You’ll kite the wing, wear the motor and learn the basics — and if the weather’s good, watch our pilots fly. A no-pressure way to see if this sport is for you.
2. Kiting Practice
Master the wing on the ground before you ever leave it: kiting drills, forward and reverse launches, plus ground school on weather, airspace and FAA Part 103 rules — all at your own pace.
3. First Flight
When you’re ready, an instructor on the radio guides every launch, pattern and landing — only in calm, forgiving air at our private training fields. It’s a day you’ll never forget.
4. PPG2-Rating
Earn your USPPA PPG1 and PPG2 ratings when you’re ready. You’ll leave with the skills to fly safely on your own, gear that fits you, and a weekly fly-in community for life.
