Introductory Course

The first step in your powered paragliding journey is to come out for an introductory lesson. This is a fully immersive day and a great way to learn the basics of powered paragliding, interact with the equipment, make sure we’re the right fit for each other, and work with an instructor to practice kiting our gliders. Dress comfortably and bring plenty of water! Class lasts about 4-5 hours and is $250.00.

Premium PPG2 Training Package

We know that everyone learns at a different pace, so our Premium Training package is unlimited. This means you’re not bound by a certain timeframe or need to try and rush to jam several ratings into the span of a week or so. You’re added to our distribution lists and can come as often as you need to become a safe and competent pilot.

We take you through the USPPA PPG1 and PPG2 syllabi (yes, that’s how you say it) and make sure you leave Mojo’s a skilled, safe, and experienced pilot. We will issue the PPG1 and PPG2 ratings once you’ve completed your customized plan and teach both wheel launch and foot launch techniques. We are passionate about this sport and want you to be a good steward of it as well!

We also try to make this as affordable as possible for our students, so we offer our premium training package for $3,000. The good news is that it winds up about much less if you purchase gear from us, based on the discounts we offer:

What if I Learned Someplace Else but Need Additional Support?

Sometimes taking off, flying, and landing in the Carolinas can be tricky if you’ve learned in other parts of the country where the wind is different. We’re happy to help pilots with some formal training to regain the confidence they need to fly safely! Our daily rate is $500.00.
