I have always had a love for aviation! In high school I worked as a line crew member at
a local flight school where I started flight training to get my Private Pilot’s License. I
was able to solo but, unfortunately, I wasn’t able to complete my flight training. After
graduating high school, I joined the military serving 21 years in 3 branches of the
military, U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Marine Corps. After exiting the Marine Corps, I moved to
Greenville, SC where I meet my wife Ashley and we raise our 3 kids. In 2006 I joined
the Air Force Reserves, retiring in 2019.
In 2018 I started to look into completing my Private Pilot’s License, however, looking
at the cost of flight training + cost of owning and/or renting an aircraft + hangar and
maintenance the budget wasn’t there. I began looking into other types of aviation
then stumbled across some PPG videos on YouTube, then realizing for the cost of
getting a Private Pilot’s License I could fly Paramotors thus saving on the cost of
renting or owning an aircraft plus hangar, and maintenance cost.
Outside of Paramotoring, I like to spend time with my wife and kids. I also enjoy
hiking, fishing, woodworking, shooting sports, design and metal fabrication, 3D
Printing.
